All therapy is held in the strictest of confidence and any records and data are kept and held under the appropriate data protection laws.
Usually a short meeting, of approx 30 minutes, will take place, this is free of charge. It is a meeting when both Marnie and the client can decide whether the therapy is suitable and necessary and whether they can establish a good rapport which will lead to successful therapy.
It is a good idea for the client to take 24/48 hours after this meeting to decide whether or not to continue into therapy.
Therapy with hypnotherapy lasts for one and a half hours and costs £60.00
Only cheque or cash are accepted.
Please be assured that any issues discussed will be kept in the strictest of confidence abiding by the NRHP code of confidentiality and ethics, this leaves the way for sensitive and personal issues to be openly discussed, some things that may be difficult to discuss with family and friends.
You will be required to fill in a medical information form, this usually takes place before the first full session (you will be asked to arrive 10 mins prior to the session to allow time). It is really just ticking boxes and is a requirement by law. There are not many medical conditions that interfere with hypnotherapy but some prescription drugs may get in the way of good therapy in which case therapy will be deferred until the client is free from any relevant medication.
In some situations where there are certain medical conditions involved a GP referral may be required i.e. epilepsy , heart problems, this is just confirmation from your GP that they are happy for you to do hypnotherapy.
It is also to be noted that large amounts of coffee or alcohol are not a good idea just prior to therapy.
It is understood that sometimes you may, through no fault of your own, not be able to make your appointment but please can you give at least 24 hours notice so that your slot may be offered to someone else. Clients giving less than 24 hours notice will, unfortunately, be asked to pay the full session fee.
